Come See the New Design for Guerrero Park!
Thursday, November 29th
3555 Cesar Chavez, San Francisco
1st Floor Conference Center, Room 160A/B
*SNACKS WILL BE SERVED*
Over the last several months, Sutter CPMC in collaboration with design firm HOK, and the San Francisco Planning Department has worked together with local community members to help shape the design of this public space for both residents and visitors to enjoy. Thanks to your input, we were able to create a design that we are all proud of, and we are excited to share it with you. Highlights of the new design: more trees and green space, seating, flexible areas for special events, space for art, and safer crosswalks across Guerrero Street. We hope you can join us! Snacks will be served.
Guerrero Park was originally installed in 2009 as a temporary traffic calming effort at the intersection of Guerrero St and San Jose Ave. In collaboration with the City, California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC) has committed to installing permanent improvements and establish the site as a southern gateway to the Mission Neighborhood.
